I'm Zsombor Váczi. I was born between 1989 and 1991 nearly nine hundred miles away from Crete, in the city of Budapest. Ever since then, I've been desperately searching for the answer to this question: Is there life before death? Considering the fact that George Eastman invented the 35mm perforated celluloid film, and MC Hammer wrote the song U Can't Touch This, I see no doubt.


For many years, I've been interested in how things work behind the camera, to be more precise, what a director does. Since 2007, I've been doing amateur filming accompanied by a modest equipment. One of my long-term aims is a degree at a film school. Besides, I'm obsessed with the English language. This may be the reason why I'm attending the faculty of English at ELTE. I set the goal of obtaining a teacher's degree there.

Although I don't believe in coincidences, my motto is spontaneity. I appreciate creativity as well as the one-off and unrepeatable moments of life. I like meditating about the world, but even more: living.

What does life mean to me? Seizing the opportunities, hitting the road, entertaining people, making them laugh. Smiling, and watching them smile. I like those conversations that seem like a well-written dialogue of a script. Discovering and living through various feelings is one of my favorite activity. I enjoy it the most with a retro Coca Cola in my hand and sunglasses on. The cherry on the cake would be some old rock, funky or jazzrock music playing in the background. Or else, I'd make do with a soprano sax solo.
